    Intimacy & Relationships

Relationship and intimacy struggles can be difficult to navigate on your own. Whether these issues are related to attachment styles, difficulty communicating, a feeling of disconnection to yourself, or personal and familial history - we will together work to find healthier ways of communicating and better understanding your needs in relationships with others as well as strengthening the relationship you have to yourself.

  • Codependency

Individuals with codependency might find themselves in “one-sided” relationships where one person needs the other, and in turn, the other who needs to be needed. Codependent relationships can be emotionally destructive, isolating, and/or abusive. Codependency stems from learned patterns in childhood by our caregivers. Therapy can help people with codependency recognize their patterns, identify their needs, implement boundaries, and develop a healthier sense of self.

    Borderline Personality Disorder

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a mental health condition characterized by intense emotions, unstable relationships, difficulties with self-image, and impulsive behaviors. People with BPD may experience rapid mood changes, fear of abandonment, and struggles with regulating emotions, which can feel overwhelming but are treatable with therapy and support. I approach treatment to BPD through a compassionate lens, offering skills and tools for self-regulation.
